Is your employability skills delivery really making your learners more employable?

Measuring, assessing and tracking your learners’ employability skills can be an expensive, time consuming and inaccurate process. Join Commercial Manager; Stephen King, and Learning Resources Manager, Tracy Walters, who's workkshop will show you how REED NCFE's Baseline Employability Skills Test (BESTest) can help you to:

  • quickly and objectively assess your learner’s employability skills;
  • accurately measure distance travelled and evidence impact of learning;
  • benchmark your learners against learners nationally; and
  • identify key employability trends within your College.

Stephen and Tracy will also look at how you can address these key issues to improve your learners’ work readiness. By addressing the common hard skills such as; CV Writing, interview techniques and workplace behaviours but more importantly the soft skills, which really make the difference with employers, such as; motivation, resilience and initiative, you can ensure that your students leave you ready for the world of work. We will demonstrate interesting and engaging learning resources which will help you achieve the best results for your learners.

In this workshop you will also benefit from unique insight in to national employability skills trends and statistics including how blended learning has impacted on progression statistics.
